Our story

AQUATIQUE is a Bangkok brand of hats made for the water, started by a clothing maker who spends as much time in the sea as he can.

Made for the water

A hat for the water has a different job from a hat for the street. It has to stay on when you jump in, sit comfortably over a mask, dry quickly on the boat and keep the sun off your face all day. That is the hat we set out to make.

From a factory in Bangkok

Every AQUATIQUE hat is cut and sewn in Bangkok by a team that makes clothes every day. Our core fabric is recycled polyester made from used PET bottles and fabric offcuts, so the hat that protects your skin also keeps plastic out of the ocean we swim in.

Colour that gets you seen

Out on open water a bright hat is easy to spot, which is one reason we make so many colours. Pick the one that feels like you: one size fits all.

Who wears them

Freedivers, scuba divers, surfers and anyone who spends the day on a boat. Our hats go to the sea, the pool and the boat, and our customers are all over the world.
